The short answer
On Vercel's Hobby plan, Cron Jobs run once per day, any time within the scheduled hour. Since November 5, 2026, Vercel Schedules is in public beta on all plans, and on Hobby a schedule can run as often as every 15 minutes. Hobby always uses a 15-minute jitter window, so a run can start up to 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
What to do
- Define the schedule under schedules in vercel.json, with a cron expression and the function, path or queue topic it should run.
- Set a timezone if you need one: any IANA timezone, per schedule.
- Enable, disable or run each schedule on demand without redeploying.
Good to know
- Hobby has schedule creation and run limits. When a Hobby team goes over its creation or run limit, Vercel blocks the following until the next billing period starts.
- Schedules are in beta. Behavior, APIs, and limits may change before general availability.
