Ctrl+Z Therapy, the cartoon

A short animated comedy about building an app with AI. Dev can't code, the AI is always absolutely right, and the app has feelings. Each episode ends in the therapist's office with one note you can actually use.

Dev has never written a line of code. At 3 AM, the internet convinces him to build an app with AI.

Therapist's note · the real part

Writing "no bugs" in a prompt doesn't make an app bug-free. Plan to test.

The cast

Dev
24, hoodie, energy drinks. His name is Dev, but he isn't a developer. Types every prompt in lowercase, typos included.
Biscuit
Dev's dog. Never says a word. The only adult in the room.
The AI
A chat window with a monocle and a bow tie. Polite, posh and very sure of itself. "You're absolutely... right!"
Bee
The app: dogbnb.app, a B&B for dogs. A browser tab with a ponytail, born in episode 2.
Rowan
The database and Bee's best friend. Cheerful, easily surprised, scared of the word DELETE.
The Recycle Bin
The villain. Lives under the taskbar. "Everything comes to me... eventually."
Dr. Ctrl+Z
The therapist. Writes one real note in the patient file at the end of every episode.

Every character, app, guru and number in the cartoon is made up and isn't based on a real person. Only the therapist's note is real, and it links to the page that explains it. For the real thing, see the case files and quick answers.
