Netlify says "Site not available"? Your credits ran out

Ship ItChecked against the official source

The short answer

Netlify's Free plan has 300 credits a month with a hard limit. Each production deploy costs 15 credits and each GB of bandwidth 20, so that's at most 20 deploys a month before any traffic. When a team runs out, all its projects pause until the next billing cycle and visitors see "Site not available". The Free plan can't buy more credits: upgrade or wait.

What to do

  1. Batch your changes and deploy once, instead of after every small AI edit.
  2. Keep an eye on your credits before launch.
  3. Already out? Upgrade, or wait for the next billing cycle.
