The short answer
On The X Subscription plans, Cursor's pricing page says every tier includes a pool of AI usage shared across Cursor and Grok. Within Grok, the same pool covers Chat, Imagine, Voice and Bot, and usage costs vary by product. Your allowance refreshes weekly, so one heavy day never wipes out your whole month. If you reach your included usage, you can keep going with top-ups or wait for your allowance to refresh.
What to do
- Before a big coding task, check your remaining usage in settings.
- Remember that Grok chat, images, voice and Bot draw from the same pool as your coding.
- Run out mid-week? Top up to keep going (it costs extra), or wait for the weekly refresh at no extra cost.
Good to know
- Cursor's pricing page doesn't say which day of the week the allowance refreshes.
- Prices and plans were checked on October 19, 2026. They change: check the pricing page before you pay.
