AI fix broke something else? How to get out of the fix loop

The short answer
Stop stacking fixes. Write down the exact step that fails, restore the last working version from your version history, and if it works again, you know the last change broke it. Then ask the AI for the smallest fix, change nothing else, and test both the thing it fixed and the thing that broke.
What to do
- Write down the exact step that fails.
- Restore the last working version from your version history. If it works again, the last change broke it.
- Ask the AI for the smallest fix, and to change nothing else.
- Test both: the thing it fixed and the thing that broke.
Good to know
- Restoring code doesn't always undo database changes.
How we checked it
We ran this in a demo app with fake data on 29 Sept 2026, and the video shows the result. Try it on your own app with test accounts and test data, never real users' data.
