The short answer
Vercel's docs say every paid Pro team gets one free first-year custom domain. Since October 22, 2026, sixteen domain endings (TLDs) are eligible: .agency, .app, .co, .company, .dev, .digital, .info, .live, .online, .pro, .site, .space, .store, .studio, .tech and .website. .com isn't on the list, and premium domains are not eligible, even on those endings. After the first year, the domain renews at the regular price shown at checkout when you claim it.
What to do
- Search at vercel.com/domains: an eligible domain shows Free With Pro.
- Choose carefully: it's one free domain per eligible Pro team, and once it's claimed, it's final. You can't swap it.
- Note the regular price at checkout. That's what you pay from the second year, and renewals are automatic by default.
Good to know
- Pro trials are not eligible until the team upgrades to Pro.
- The offer is available for a limited time.
