The short answer
Twilio error 30034 means a message from an unregistered number. Twilio blocks messages to U.S. numbers when you send from a +1 10DLC number that is not associated with an approved A2P 10DLC Campaign. Usually your Brand or Campaign registration isn't complete yet, or the number isn't in the Messaging Service linked to your approved Campaign.
What to do
- Complete A2P 10DLC registration for your Brand and Campaign.
- Add the phone number to the Sender Pool of the Messaging Service linked to your approved Campaign.
- Need to send before registration is done? Twilio suggests a sender type outside A2P 10DLC: a toll-free number, a short code, or Twilio Verify for verification codes.
Good to know
- This is about US recipients texted from a +1 10DLC number. Other countries have their own rules.
