The short answer
After you receive your first live payment, Stripe typically schedules your initial payout to complete within 7 to 14 days, depending on your industry, country of operation, and risk level. After that, payouts follow your account's payout schedule. Your bank might also take additional time to make the funds available.
What to do
- Check the expected deposit dates in your Stripe Dashboard.
- Payout scheduled on a weekend or holiday? It arrives on the next business day.
- Ask your AI tool: "Explain my Stripe money flow in plain words: payment, pending balance, available balance, payout. Then tell me where in the Stripe Dashboard I can see the expected deposit date."
Good to know
- 7 to 14 days is what Stripe "typically" schedules, not a promised date.
- Choosing a payout schedule doesn't change how long it takes for your pending balance to become available.
