The short answer

Since November 3, 2026, Lovable apps can connect to Mollie, a European payments provider that supports iDEAL, Bancontact, cards, SEPA, and other local payment methods. Your app creates a payment, sends customers to Mollie's hosted checkout, and marks an order as paid only after Mollie confirms the payment.

What to do

  1. In the Mollie Dashboard, open Developers, API keys and copy the test key (it starts with test_).
  2. Add Mollie from Connectors in Lovable, or ask Lovable in a project to connect it.
  3. Switch to the live key (live_) when you're ready. Live payments work only after Mollie has activated your account.

Good to know

  • Payments made with a test key are simulated.
  • No Mollie account? Lovable payments can set up Stripe or Paddle instead. Built-in payments require the Pro plan or higher.
