The short answer
You get 10 free fixes, shared across Try to fix and fixes from the Security view, and each one becomes available again 24 hours after you use it. After all 10, Try to fix still works, but it's treated as standard build usage and uses credits. Lovable's own advice: stop retrying blind fixes and ask Lovable to find the root cause in Plan mode.
What to do
- Switch to Plan mode and ask for the root cause, in plain English, before any code changes.
- Or restore a working version from version history and ask again, more clearly.
Good to know
- Plan mode never modifies your code. A Plan mode message costs one credit, plus any research it runs.
