The short answer
Cursor's changelog of November 5, 2026: you can build live apps directly in Cursor and share them with a link. Cloud agents can build a working web app, and Cursor handles the hosting, database, auth, and secrets. If the app needs a database, Cursor provisions a Postgres database for it automatically. Before an app goes live, Cursor runs a series of deterministic and agentic security checks.
What to do
- Start a cloud agent and say explicitly that you want Cursor to build an app. The feature is not supported locally.
- Preview the app, then publish and pick its URL.
- Add any secrets when Cursor asks for them. The agent never sees the values.
Good to know
- Users on individual plans can share apps publicly. Public sharing is disabled by default for Teams and Enterprise.
- You can also ask Cursor to deploy an app from an existing GitHub repository.
- Cursor's docs don't list a hosting price yet, so check before you depend on it.
