The short answer
Apple's renewal page says that if your membership expires, your apps will no longer be available for download, and you won't be able to submit new apps or updates or access Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. Your apps still work for users who already installed or downloaded them. You can renew any time after it expires, and you don't need to resubmit your apps.
What to do
- Renew your membership. When the renewal completes, free apps become available again within 24 hours.
- For paid apps, sign in to App Store Connect and accept the Paid Applications Agreement.
- Check your expiry date and the card on file. Automatic renewal is only available in certain regions.
Good to know
- Your apps aren't deleted: they're unavailable for download.
- The program is 99 USD per membership year, and prices vary by region.
