The short answer
When you delete a project, Lovable takes its published app offline but keeps the project for 60 days, so you can restore it from workspace settings. After you restore it, the published app and preview links work again within about a minute. After 60 days, Lovable permanently deletes the project, its version history and its project chat, and nobody can bring it back, including Lovable support.
What to do
- Open Workspace settings, then Workspace, then Recently deleted projects.
- Click Restore. You can restore the projects you own; workspace owners can restore any deleted project in the workspace.
- Want a copy that lasts beyond 60 days? Remix the project or download the code before you delete it.
Good to know
- A Cloud backend that Lovable paused when you deleted the project resumes on restore. One you paused yourself, or one paused because the workspace ran out of credits, stays paused.
- A connected GitHub repository stays in your GitHub account.
- You can delete and restore projects on all plans.
