The short answer
Lovable's docs: an older React + Vite app sends the browser a mostly empty page, and the browser then builds the content with JavaScript. Lovable serves pre-rendered copies of published pages to verified search engines and social preview bots, but tools outside that verified list see very little. TanStack Start, the default for new projects since May 13, 2026, renders each page on the server, so everyone receives the same complete page, every time.
What to do
- Ask Lovable which stack the project is on: "What stack is this project on?"
- In the project chat, type /, choose Migrate to TanStack Start, and confirm. You can also start it from Project settings, General, Project actions.
- Review the preview, then publish. Your published site keeps serving the old version until you publish again.
Good to know
- Most upgrades cost 10 to 35 credits, depending on how large your project is. The upgrade is available on all plans.
- You can revert the whole upgrade from your project's version history.
- Platforms like Slack and LinkedIn cache link previews for a while, so an old preview can stay for some time after you publish.
