Ask Lovable to check your app's security: the Deep scan is free, the chat isn't

Ship ItChecked against the official source

The short answer

Since October 29, 2026, you can ask Lovable in the project chat to review your app's security, and Lovable starts a Deep scan in the background. The Deep scan reviews all your application code for issues specific to your app's logic, permissions, and data. The scans are free. Your request and Lovable's explanation of the findings are treated as standard build usage and consume credits.

What to do

  1. Ask in the project chat, or open the project's Security view and click Run deep scan.
  2. Follow the Deep scan's progress in the Security view. When it finishes, review the findings.
  3. Fix the findings, then run the scan again.

Good to know

  • Our tip: if you only want the scan, start it in the Security view instead of the chat.
  • The Quick scan runs automatically every time you publish. The Deep scan does not run automatically as you work.
  • Lovable's docs say these tools do not replace a thorough security review.
