The short answer
Lovable changed how Analytics counts visits. From October 26, 2026, each reload or new tab counts as a new visit, and Lovable filters out more bots. Most apps show more visits from October 26, while page views stay about the same. Apps with a lot of bot traffic can show fewer visits. Visits are not unique people.
What to do
- Open More, Analytics in your project toolbar.
- Compare numbers only between days on the same side of October 26. When your period includes that day, the chart marks it with a dashed line.
- Use Engagement rate instead of Bounce rate for periods that start on or after October 26.
Good to know
- Engagement rate is the percentage of visits with at least two page views or at least 10 seconds of engagement.
- Analytics now counts visits without storing anything on your visitors' devices.
- Workspace Insights counts App visits the same way.
