The short answer

Not on the Free plan. Supabase backs up Pro, Team and Enterprise projects daily, and Pro keeps the last 7 days. For Free plan projects, Supabase recommends exporting your data regularly with the Supabase CLI and keeping a copy somewhere else.

What to do

  1. Check your plan. If your plan has backups, they are under Database > Backups in the Supabase dashboard.
  2. On the Free plan, ask your AI tool to set up a regular export with the Supabase CLI (supabase db dump), saved outside Supabase.
  3. Check that the copy actually restores, into a separate test project, never your live one.
